Company History

Locating, Inc. ("Locating") identifies and marks underground facilities for major utilities and others. Most of the company's services are under long-term contract for companies that own telephone, power, gas, cable TV, water and sewer facilities.

Locating was founded in 1984 to meet the needs of utilities outsourcing their activities. The company is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. Locating has experienced steady growth over the years based on an excellent reputation for providing quality service throughout the Northwestern United States while maintaining the efficiencies customers demand. Locating assures the accuracy of its locates in accordance with applicable state law, including meeting the mandated time for responding to locate requests. Protection of customers' underground facilities is the company's number one priority, and Locating employees strive for 100% customer satisfaction.
